My story

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by my experiences striving for success while learning to adapt, find purpose, and move through the complexities of living with chronic illness and maintaining mental wellness. These experiences have given me a deeper appreciation for the ways we adapt, cope, and find meaning through life’s challenges.

I believe therapy is most helpful when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. I have a special passion for supporting individuals living with chronic illness, OCD and neurodivergence. I understand that navigating these experiences can involve uncertainty, difficult emotions, and challenges that are not always visible to others. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches while remaining responsive to each person’s individual needs and circumstances. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and collaboration, recognizing that each person’s story, values, and goals are unique.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 15 years as a high-performance athlete. This experience contributed to my clinical interest in perfectionism, performance pressure, and burnout. It shaped my understanding of how success, expectations, and self-worth can become closely connected.

Driven by passion

I deeply believe in the value of therapy and the impact that a supportive therapeutic relationship can have. Therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and respect. You bring your knowledge of your own life and experiences, and I bring clinical training, curiosity, and support as we work together to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and move toward what matters most to you.
